Goshen Annexation 2024
WHY ANNEX?
The Goshen Annexation 2024 initiative is a significant development poised to reshape the community landscape and governance of Goshen and its surrounding areas. This initiative involves the incorporation of adjacent unincorporated lands into the city limits of Goshen, aiming to streamline services, improve infrastructure, and foster cohesive urban planning. The annexation process is driven by the need to address the growing population and to ensure that residents in these outlying areas receive equitable access to municipal services.

THE BENEFITS
Proponents of The Goshen Annexation 2024 agree that the move will bring numerous benefits to both current city residents and those in the newly annexed areas. By expanding the city limits, Goshen can optimize resource allocation, reduce administrative fragmentation, and implement uniform zoning regulations that promote sustainable development. For you, as new Goshen residents, you will experience and partake in enhanced public services, better maintained roads, additional city services, and our beautiful 113-acre Mill Branch Park. A new ward will be created and represented in the City Council with the addition of 2 new seats filled by citizens in the newly annexed area. The annexation is also expected to attract new businesses and investments, spurring economic growth and creating job opportunities.
